Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced and dependable Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team throughout Hampton Roads. You will provide nursing care within the LPN scope and support patients with daily activities.

This position offers per diem hours in various facilities, with options for same-day or next-day pay, weekly payroll, and a hiring bonus after two shifts. Active LPN license and 1 year of facility experience required.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based nursing experience
• Current BLS/CPR
• PPD within the last year
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice
• Administer medications and treatments
• Collect and document patient information
• Provide wound care and patient education
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs
