Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team in Hampton Roads. Per diem shifts offer same-day or next-day pay options and the opportunity to work with a supportive local team.

Qualified candidates hold an active LPN license, at least 1 year of facility-based experience, BLS/CPR certification, and a recent PPD. Responsibilities include patient care, medication administration, wound care, and coordinating with the care team.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in good standing.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• PPD within the last year.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
