Job summary

Mass General Brigham seeks a Per Diem patient care assistant to support licensed personnel in daily living activities and vital sign monitoring. You will assist with bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, and mobility, while documenting findings and maintaining EMR entries. Requires BLS, LNA NH license, and 1–2 years in acute care.

Position is onsite at 789 Central Avenue with day shifts; compensation aligns with local pay ranges and includes benefits where applicable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred.
• BLS Certification required; LNA – New Hampshire license required.
• 1–2 years of experience in Critical Care or Acute Care preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology; strong patient/customer service skills.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds; proficient in EMR use.

Responsibilities

• Record vital signs, weights, heights, intake and output within established timeframes.
• Document all activities in the medical record accurately and timely.
• Interact professionally with patients and families.
• Assist with activities of daily living: bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding.
• Assist with turning, transferring, and mobility as needed.
• Report observations or concerns to nursing staff promptly.
