Job summary

Mass General Brigham seeks a Patient Care Assistant for the Emergency Department. Onsite work at 267 Charles Street. Schedule: 36 hours weekly across three 12-hour day shifts; rotating holidays and weekends as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic Life Support certification required or obtained.
• Nursing assistant or CMA certification preferred; healthcare experience valued.

Responsibilities

• Take and record vital signs, weights, heights, inputs and outputs.
• Document medical information accurately in the EMR.
• Interact professionally with patients and families to address needs.
• Assist with activities of daily living and basic hygiene tasks.
• Position, turn and transport patients safely and report concerns to nurses.
