Qualifications

Maine Veterans’ Homes – Scarborough is seeking Per Diem Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our team and help meet our weekend staffing needs.

$34.34 per hour
+$4.00 evening differential
+$5.00 night differential
+$2.50 weekend differential — stacked

Our per diem LPNs help provide coverage for weekends, holidays, and time-off requests for our full-time and part-time employees.

About the Role

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) supervises the activities of direct care staff and promotes the highest quality of nursing services. The LPN helps ensure plans of care are fulfilled according to Maine Veterans’ Homes quality standards.

Per Diem Requirements

• Work an average of 8 hours per two-week pay period
• Work a minimum of 16 weekend hours per month
• Weekend availability is required

Requirements

• Current Maine Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing
• Ability to effectively understand and communicate verbally and in writing in English
• Basic computer skills
