Maine Veterans’ Homes is seeking a Per Diem Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to assist with staffing across multiple shifts. Evening and night coverage is prioritized, with day shifts possible, and differential pay for evening, night, and weekend hours.

As an RN Supervisor, you will provide leadership, clinical oversight, and direction for nursing operations during your shift, ensuring high-quality, resident-centered care and mentoring nursing staff.

Competenze

• Current unencumbered RN license to practice in the State of Maine.
• Knowledge of skilled and long-term care nursing regulations.
• Ability to effectively understand and communicate verbally and in writing, in English, is required.
• Basic computer skills

Maine Veterans’ Homes is seeking a Per Diem Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to help meet our staffing needs across a variety of shifts.

We have the greatest need for evening and night coverage, with opportunities for day shifts as well.

+$4.00 evening differential
+$5.00 night differential
+$2.50 weekend differential — stacked

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) looking for flexible per diem work while providing leadership and clinical support to a dedicated team serving Maine’s Veterans and their families.

About the Role

The Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor provides leadership, clinical oversight, direction, monitoring, and training for nursing and nursing-related operations throughout the facility during the scheduled shift. The RN Supervisor helps ensure high-quality, resident-centered care and provides support and guidance to nursing staff when needed.

Per diem employees are required to work an average of 8 hours per two-week pay period and a minimum of 16 weekend hours per month.
