NHMP Northern OB/GYN at Northern Dutchess Hospital in Rhinebeck, NY seeks a per diem Doula with DONA or CAPPA certification. The role provides continuous emotional and physical support during labor and postpartum, with a 24-hour call schedule and on-call deliveries around the clock.

Responsibilities include attending entire labor, offering comfort measures, supporting families, and coordinating with nurses and physicians to honor birth plans. On-site role with adherence to hospital standards.

Formación

• High School diploma required.
• DONA or CAPPA in-person certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Attend laboring women for entire labor, providing continuous support.
• Offer comfort measures: positioning, massage, ambulation, hydration, nutrition, rest.
• Support families throughout labor and birth process.
• Collaborate with patient, RNs and MDs to honor birth plans.
