Job summary

Qualifications

• ASN or Nursing Diploma required.
• Florida RN licensure (or endorsement).
• American Heart Association BLS required.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP, NIHSS certifications per unit.
• Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills.
• Proficiency in documentation and care planning.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, evidence-based nursing care across the care continuum.
• Administers medications and treatments; documents care per policy.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team; participates in rounds and discharge planning.
• Identifies patient condition changes and initiates timely interventions.
• Educates patients and families using teach-back to promote engagement.
• Adheres to safety protocols and infection prevention practices.
