Job summary

Health First is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a part-time role in Melbourne, FL. The RN will provide direct and indirect patient care, administer medications, document care, and participate in rounds with the care team. The ideal candidate supports discharge planning and engages patients and families in their care.

The role requires Florida RN licensure, ASN or Nursing Diploma, and BLS certification with unit-specific certifications preferred. Experience in quality and safety is valued.

Qualifications

• ASN or Nursing Diploma required.
• Florida RN licensure or endorsement required.
• BLS certification required before start date.
• ACLS/PALS/NRP or other unit-specific certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and indirect patient care per nursing process.
• Administer medications and document care in health records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and participate in rounds.
• Educate patients and families using teach-back methods.
• Support discharge planning and care transitions.
