Job summary

ConvenientMD is seeking a Lab Assistant to support laboratory services at a growth phase. You will help receive, accession, and document specimens, support PCR and molecular workflows, and ensure accurate LIS data entry while maintaining compliance and throughput.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, some lab or healthcare exposure, and an eye for detail in fast paced settings. On site role with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Receive and accession specimens according to CLIA requirements
• Assist with sample preparation and PCR/molecular workflows under supervision
• Enter specimen and patient data into LIS and maintain logs
• Stock and organize lab supplies and communicate inventory needs
• Maintain a clean, compliant work area and follow safety procedures
• Collaborate with lab team and clinic staff to clarify documentation
