Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in a relevant field.
• No prior work experience required.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Able to read, write, and speak English.
• Familiarity with scheduling software (Kronos) and timekeeping systems.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate with nursing staff and leadership.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate daily staffing for inpatient nursing units to ensure coverage.
• Review staffing data and create plans to ensure adequate coverage.
• Adjust schedules based on census, acuity, and unit needs.
• Fill open shifts using internal staff, float pool, per diem, or agencies.
• Communicate staffing updates and data to departments.
• Monitor attendance, callouts, and tardiness; report concerns.
• Maintain compliance with staffing guidelines and financial parameters.
• Update schedules and timecards in the scheduling system.
• Collaborate with nurse managers and supervisors to resolve shortages.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure equitable staffing.
