Geisinger is seeking a per diem Registered Nurse for inpatient care in Pennsylvania. This role offers market-leading pay and up to a $7 differential for evening, night, and weekend shifts, with per diem flexibility to fit your schedule.

You will assess, plan, and provide nursing care, coordinate patient care with interdisciplinary teams, and contribute to high-quality patient and family experiences under a supportive governance structure.

Qualifications

• Graduate from Specialty Training Program-Nursing (Required).

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse assesses plans, organizes, performs, and evaluates nursing activities to meet the needs of the patient.
• Promotes adaptive responses of patient and family to achieve the highest level of patient care, promote safety, and maximize patient satisfaction.
• Exhibits compassionate care during patient-nurse interactions.
• Coordinates patient care and interaction of staff.
• Responsible for ensuring the very best patient/family experience by optimizing all interactions.
• Provides direct patient care including, treatments, medications, and diagnostic studies according to policy and procedure.
