Job summary

Geisinger Bloomsburg Hospital seeks a per diem Registered Nurse to provide patient-centered inpatient care in a dynamic setting. You will assess, plan, administer treatments, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Per diem shifts include evening, night, and weekend coverage with market-leading pay and up to a $7 shift differential; you’ll join a supportive leadership team focused on patient safety, quality care, and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate from Specialty Training Program-Nursing (Required).
• Licensure: Licensed Registered Nurse (Pennsylvania) with Basic Life Support certification.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse assesses plans, organizes, performs, and evaluates nursing activities to meet the needs of the patient.
• Promotes adaptive responses of patient and family to achieve the highest level of patient care, promote safety, and maximize patient satisfaction.
• Exhibits compassionate care during patient-nurse interactions.
• Coordinates patient care and interaction of staff.
• Provides direct patient care including treatments, medications, and diagnostic studies.
• Evaluates effectiveness of nursing interventions and revises plan of care based upon patient response to interventions.
