Job summary

Provident Behavioral Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for per diem assignments in an acute-care hospital setting with ICU or Telemetry responsibilities. The role offers flexible scheduling options, including day and night shifts, and competitive compensation with daily/weekly pay possibilities.

The ideal candidate holds an active Virginia RN license and has recent ICU or Telemetry experience, with current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license required.
• Minimum of one year ICU or Telemetry experience within the past two years.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association.
• Recent QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality care in an acute-care hospital setting.
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and responses to treatments.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as ordered.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and specialized equipment.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records.
• Follow hospital policies, infection control, and patient safety standards.
• Educate patients and families on treatment and discharge instructions.
• Demonstrate professionalism and adaptability in a dynamic environment
