Job summary

Collaborative Support Programs of NJ is seeking a Per Diem Hospital Wellness Mentor to provide peer support and recreational activities at Ancora Psychiatric Hospital. The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree or significant experience in mental health, along with strong interpersonal skills and basic computer proficiency. The organization values lived experience in overcoming mental health or substance use challenges. A valid NJ driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree with at least 1 year experience in mental health OR 2+ years with a High School Diploma.
• Experience with inpatient hospitalization.
• Willingness to disclose mental health and/or addiction experiences.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individual and group peer support at the wellness center.
• Assist with day-to-day operations of the wellness center.
• Coordinate with hospital staff and assist with community relations.

Associate’s degree in mental health or related field
