Bournewood Hospital in Brookline, MA is seeking a part-time Social Worker (Masters Degree in Social Work) to assess new admissions, provide psychosocial evaluations, case management and discharge planning.

You will collaborate with psychiatry, nursing and rehab teams, document progress in the medical record, support families with resources, and participate in weekend/holiday shifts as required.

Qualifikationen

• Masters Degree in Social Work or equivalent.
• Licensed or license eligible.
• Inpatient field placement preferred.
• Proof of licensure upon completion of the initial appraisal period.

Aufgaben

• Complete psychosocial assessments within 48 hours of case assignment.
• Assume social work role on unit and may float to units as needed.
• Document progress in medical records and communicating with the treatment team.
• Advocate for family resources and discharge planning.
• Coordinate information and interventions with psychiatry, nursing and rehabilitation services.
• Meet on case assignment day and contact family within one day due to short stays.
• Shifts are weekends and holidays with a minimum of one shift every other month.
