Job summary

Roxborough Memorial Hospital, part of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a per diem Pharmacist to join its hospital pharmacy team. The role reports to the Director of Pharmacy and supports care across multiple departments to maintain high-quality pharmaceutical services.

Requirements include a current state Pharmacist License, hospital pharmacy experience, a B.S. in Pharmacy (PharmD preferred), and BLS/ACLS certification. APhA immunization certification and BLS are desirable.

Qualifications

• Current state Registered Pharmacist License.
• Experience in hospital pharmacy operations preferred.
• B.S. degree in Pharmacy required; Doctor of Pharmacy degree preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certification preferred.
• APhA Immunization Certification and BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the activities of the pharmacy department to provide high-quality pharmaceutical care while ensuring patient safety.
• Support patient care across General Medicine/Surgical, ICU, OB/GYN, Pediatrics, Emergency, Oncology, peri-operative, geriatrics and outpatient services.
