Job summary

You will provide direct patient care, perform diagnostics, prescribe medications, educate patients, and collaborate with physicians while maintaining records and adhering to regulations.

Qualifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner license in Pennsylvania.
• Certification as ACNP, FNP, or AGACNP.
• Experience in urgent care or emergency medicine.
• BLS and ACLS certification.
• Ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Per diem shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up for acute and chronic illnesses.
• Perform and interpret diagnostic tests and results.
• Prescribe medications and other treatments as appropriate.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to established clinical protocols.
• Handle administrative tasks and patient communication.
• Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards.
