St. Francis Medical Center in Los Angeles, part of Prime Healthcare Services, seeks a licensed pharmacist to join our hospital pharmacy team. The role encompasses coordinating pharmacy operations across multiple services to ensure safe, high-quality medication care for all patients.

Requirements include an active pharmacist license, hospital experience preferred, a B.S. in Pharmacy (D.Pharm preferred), and BLS/ACLS certification preferred. Per diem shift with variable hours.

Qualifications

• Current state Registered Pharmacist License.
• Experience in hospital pharmacy operations preferred.
• B.S. degree in Pharmacy required; Doctor of Pharmacy degree preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Under the supervision of the Director of Pharmacy, coordinates the activities of the pharmacy department to provide the highest quality of pharmaceutical care to all patients served by the hospital, while ensuring patient safety.
• The scope of patient care provided may include: General Medicine/Surgical, Intensive Care Services, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatrics, Emergency Care, Oncology, Peri-operative, Geriatrics and Outpatient Services.
