Job summary

Willapa Harbor Hospital is seeking a cook responsible for preparing, cooking and serving meals to patients, staff and visitors. You will maintain strict sanitation, rotate stock, and assist in diet order fulfillment and tray setup.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a current Food Handlers card. TB testing is required, and the schedule may include evenings, weekends and holidays in a per diem capacity.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have current Food Handlers card from Health Department.
• Experience in food preparation and institutional food service preferred.
• Negative TB test at start and annually thereafter.
• Knowledge of sanitation policies and state health regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and serve meals for patients, staff and visitors.
• Maintain safety and sanitation in all areas of kitchen and dining room.
• Rotate stock and label/storage of food items and supplies.
• Set up patient trays and assist in nutrition/diet order fulfillment.
• Assist in deliveries and maintain par level inventory.
