Job summary

Andwell Health Partners in Maine is seeking a Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) per diem to provide skilled, compassionate care in patients' homes and community settings.

You will assess needs, develop care plans, manage pain, educate families, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support comfort and dignity.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Maine.
• Minimum of one year of recent clinical nursing experience.
• Knowledge of pain management and symptom control practices.
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Delivering skilled nursing services in patients' homes in accordance with physician-directed plans of care.
• Assessing patients' physical, emotional, psychosocial, and spiritual needs.
• Developing individualized care plans with measurable outcomes in partnership with patients and families.
• Managing pain and symptoms to maximize comfort and quality of life.
• Educating patients, caregivers, and family members to support informed decision-making.
• Advocating for patient rights, preferences, and goals of care.
