Qualifications

• 2+ years of healthcare or related pastoral experience.
• Endorsement or acceptable language per faith tradition (Armed Forces Chaplains Board recognition).
• In good standing with their spiritual/faith group with no ethical charges current or pending.
• Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, or access to dependable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide spiritual care to hospice patients and families.
• Respect diverse beliefs and refrain from sharing personal beliefs unless asked.
• Access resources and network with local faith leaders to refer patients/caregivers.
• Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Team and share insights in IDG meetings about emotional and spiritual needs.
• Provide spiritual/emotional care to hospice staff when requested.
