Job summary

Ennoble Care is seeking a Per Diem Hospice Chaplain to provide spiritual and emotional support to patients, families, and staff in home and facility settings. The role integrates with the interdisciplinary team to ensure compassionate end-of-life care and adherence to hospice philosophy.

Qualifications include a Master’s of Divinity and at least four CPE units, with board certification or eligibility. Strong communication and organizational skills are required; experience in healthcare settings

Qualifications

• Master’s of Divinity Degree or equivalent in theological studies required.
• At least four units of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE).
• Board Certification status: board-certified or eligible (ACPE or CPSP).
• Excellent communication and pastoral skills; high emotional energy and vigilance.
• Good organizational and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide pastoral/spiritual care to patients and families.
• Visit and minister with patients; develop spiritual care plans.
• Conduct spiritual assessments with holistic care goals.
• Provide bedside support, and participate in memorial services as needed.
• Document visits per policy; work as part of the interdisciplinary team.
• Coordinate memorial services and support staff emotionally.
• Engage with area inter-faith clergy; support end-of-life care.
