Job summary

Optum is seeking a Per Diem Aide to assist an individual in remaining at home, providing personal care and support with daily living activities. You may accompany clients to appointments, assist with meals, and help maintain a safe home environment.

Required is a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; CPR is preferred and up to 6 months of home care experience is desirable. The role offers a comprehensive benefits package and a per diem schedule, paid hourly.

Qualifications

• Current driver’s license and vehicle insurance required.
• Reliable transportation or access to public transit.
• CPR certification preferred or able to obtain within 90 days.
• 6+ months of home care experience preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours and independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assist with daily living activities (bathing, grooming, dressing, ambulation, medication reminders).
• Support household tasks, meal preparation, and accompany clients to appointments or errands.
• Monitor and document client condition, vital signs, and incidents; maintain confidentiality and use EVV system.
• Ensure a safe environment, operate medical equipment properly, and respond promptly to client needs.
