Responsibilities

• Prepare specimens for microscopic evaluation.
• Process, cut, and embed tissue and body fluids.
• Perform routine and special staining procedures.
• Utilize immunohistochemical staining procedures as applicable.
• Operate and maintain histology equipment.
• Maintain manuals, logs and files for the department.
• Other duties as assigned by the department manager/director.
