Job summary

UNC Health in Wilson, NC seeks a Per-Diem General Surgeon to join Rex NC Surgery-Wilson. The role covers inpatient and outpatient general surgery, including breast, colon, and hernia procedures, with laparoscopic techniques and a collaborative team approach.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board certified or board eligible in General Surgery.
• Active North Carolina medical license (or ability to obtain).
• BLS and ACLS certification.
• Experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient general surgery services in Wilson, NC.
• Perform breast, colon, hernia surgery, using laparoscopic techniques.
• Collaborate with UNC Rex Healthcare network and Rex NC Surgery-Wilson.
• Work per-diem with on-site availability.

Education
