Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Surgery.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Ability to perform a full scope of general surgery procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional medical services to patients.
• Exercise independent clinical judgment in care and treatment of patients.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and prescribe appropriate treatments.
• Counsel patients and families and provide education on health conditions.
• Refer patients to appropriate specialists to ensure comprehensive care.
• Document all medical care in patient records and support accurate coding for billing.
• Supervise other medical staff and adhere to medical ethics.
