UNC Health Care in Wilson, NC is seeking a Per-Diem General Surgeon to join North Carolina Surgery at Wilson. The practice focuses on breast, colon and hernia surgery with laparoscopic techniques, working with a small team of MDs and APPs in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Candidates must be MD or DO, board-certified or board-eligible, and have or obtain an NC medical license. BLS and ACLS are required.

North Carolina Surgery at Wilson is hiring a Per-Diem General Surgeon in Wilson, NC

The practice focuses on general surgery cases, such as breast surgery, colon surgery, and hernia surgery using laparoscopic techniques. Through its partnership with North Carolina Surgery, the practice's patients will have easy access to a network of more than three dozen surgeons who can provide resources for complex cases.

The practice currently consists of three physicians (MDs) and two advanced practice providers, with an additional APP to be hired. Average patient volume ranges from approximately 80 to 120 patients per month, and the position includes both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities. Candidates must be board-certified or board-eligible and comfortable performing the full scope of general surgery procedures.
