You will explain financial responsibilities, collect payments, assist the mammography technologist with results distribution, obtain necessary authorizations, submit claims, and maintain HIPAA compliance in a fast-paced OB/GYN

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Experience as medical receptionist or front office clerk preferred.
• Experience in medical billing is a plus.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Register patient demographics and financial data in the EMR.
• Collect deductibles, copays, and payments of non-covered services.
• Explain financial responsibilities to patients and guarantors.
• Submit claims for mammography services and assist with reports.
