Job summary

Genoa Healthcare is hiring a Per Diem Float Pharmacist in Tennessee with locations in Bristol, Johnson City, Kingsport, Greeneville and Abingdon. Work hours are weekday 8:30am-5:00pm, no nights or weekends.

You will dispense medications, advise customers, and ensure compliance with pharmacy laws while supporting immunization services where permitted. Qualified candidates hold a PharmD or Bachelor of Pharmacy, with active Tennessee (and Virginia) licenses or a plan to obtain within 3 months, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD required.
• Active pharmacist license in Tennessee required.
• Active license in Virginia or willingness to obtain within 3 months of hire.
• Certified immunizer or willingness to become immunizer within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners.
• Provides information to customers about medications and their use.
• Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service.
• Ensures compliance with State Board of Pharmacy regulations.
• Administer immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy.
• Performs other usual and customary pharmacy duties.
