Job summary

Atrius Health, part of the Optum family, is seeking an Endocrinologist to join our team in South Eaton, MA. You’ll provide high-quality endocrine care in a patient-centered ambulatory setting, collaborating with primary care and specialists to optimize outcomes.

Requirements include medical degree, board certification or eligibility in Endocrinology, and active DEA licensure or ability to obtain post-hire; BLS certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Medical School or Osteopathic Medicine.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology.
• Active DEA licensure or ability to obtain post-hire.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• ACLS may be required based on specialty.

Responsibilities

• Performs physical assessments on patients with specialized conditions.
• Develops treatment plans including medications and therapies.
• Collaborates with teams to manage patient care and information exchange.
• Liaises with primary care providers and specialists.
• Teaches and counsels patients on health care needs.
• Participates in health education program development.
