Atrius Health in South Easton, MA is seeking a part-time Endocrinologist to join our team. You will perform physical assessments, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with primary care and specialists to coordinate patient care in a busy ambulatory setting.

The role requires board eligibility or certification in Endocrinology, DEA licensure, and BLS. You will contribute to health education programs and patient care initiatives while advancing value-based, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Medical School or School of Osteopathic Medicine.
• Board Certified or Board Certified Eligible in Endocrinology.
• Current active DEA licensure/prescriptive authority or ability to obtain post-hire, per state regulations.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsabilités

• Performs physical assessments on patients with specialized conditions.
• Develops and implements a plan of care for these patients, and prescribes medications, exercises and other treatments.
• Collaborates with clinical and administrative teams to manage patient care and maintain continuity with outside health agencies.
• Serves as a liaison between primary care providers and specialists such as surgeons and other clinicians.
• Teaches and counsels individuals and groups on health care needs and acts as an educator in areas of specialization.
• Participates in developing health education programs.
