Job summary

Atrius Health in Massachusetts is seeking an Endocrinologist to join our team in South Easton, MA. This physician-led role offers the opportunity to work within the Optum family and deliver high-quality endocrine care in an ambulatory setting.

You will provide comprehensive endocrine evaluations, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with primary care and specialty colleagues to improve patient outcomes. A strong commitment to patient education and care coordination is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Medical School or School of Osteopathic Medicine.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology.
• Current active DEA licensure/prescriptive authority or ability to obtain post-hire.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs physical assessments on patients with specialized conditions.
• Develops and implements a plan of care for these patients and prescribes medications, exercises and/or other treatments.
• Collaborates with clinical and administrative teams in patient care management and ensures continuity of care.
• Serves as liaison between primary care providers and specialists and consults on related issues.
• Teaches and counsels individuals and groups on health care needs; participates in health education program development.
