Job summary

Qualifications

• Three to five years’ experience in the IL EMS field required.
• Previous IL EMS Teaching preferred.
• Emergency driving experience required.
• IDPH/NREMT licensure as EMT-Paramedic; ability to obtain IDPH Lead Instructor Licensure.
• ACLS Instructor Certification preferred; Pediatric ACLS or PEPHP Instructor preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Associate Degree plus NAEMSE instructor course and teaching internship, or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s Degree in healthcare related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess plans, and coordinate educational programs for the EMS Program.
• Plan and teach continuing education for ALS, BLS; coordinate paramedic student program with area colleges.
• Maintain files for education and student orientation; align with regulatory guidelines.
