Job summary
OSF HealthCare Saint Anthony Medical Center is seeking an EMS Educator responsible for planning, implementing, coordinating, and evaluating EMS education and training. The role requires 3 years EMS experience and relevant licensure or instructor credentials in EMS or nursing.
Educational requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, with Associate degree preferred. This full-time, on-site position offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities to lead teaching initiatives within the EMS
Qualifications
- Must have EMS education and training delivery capability.
- Experience in planning and coordinating education programs is desired.
- Licensure options include EMT/Paramedic or RN licensure and related instructor credentials.
Responsibilities
- Plan, implement, coordinate and evaluate EMS education and training.
- Develop curricula and instructional materials for EMS providers.
- Lead and assess training programs to ensure quality and compliance.

Expected pay for this position is $27.26 - $32.06/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an hourly position.

The EMS Educator is responsible for planning, implementation, coordination and evaluation of EMS education and training.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED
- Experience: 3 years EMS experience
- Licensure/Certifications: Basic EMT License or Paramedic EMT License, OR IL Reg Nurse License OR MI Reg Nurse Lead Instructor
Preferred Qualifications:
- Education: Associates Degree
- Experience: Previous teaching experience
- Licensure/Certifications: ACLS, PALS, CPR, ITLS Instructor
