Job summary

VEG is seeking a per diem Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our front-line ER team, delivering gold-standard, emotionally intelligent care to pets and their families.

You will work closely with doctors to perform triage, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing, while growing your skills in a fast-paced, supportive environment. AVMA credentials and ER experience are favored.

Qualifications

• Must be credentialed as a veterinary technician in the state of VEG practice.
• 1+ years of experience in a veterinary technician role; emergency or specialty medicine preferred.
• AVMA-accredited program strongly preferred.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with EMR software.

Responsibilities

• Treat every patient and person like they matter, staying by their side through tests, treatments, and everything in between.
• Deliver nursing care, treatments, and emotional support in critical moments from triage to discharge.
• Provide medications, monitoring, and mastery—from IVs to advanced care.

Veterinary technician credential (CVT, RVT, LVT, LVMT)
