Veterinary Emergency Group in Brookfield, WI is seeking an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician (Relief) to join our fast-paced ER team on a per diem basis. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree in veterinary technology (AVMA-accredited) strongly preferred.
• Credentialed as a veterinary technician (CVT/RVT/LVT/LVMT) in the state is required; VTS in ECC/internal medicine/anesthesia a plus.
• 1+ year experience in a veterinary technician role; emergency or specialty experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with practice management software/EMR.

Responsibilities

• Triage, treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing.
• Deliver nursing care, treatments, and emotional support from triage to discharge.
• Handle medications, monitoring, IVs, CRIs, transfusions.
• Communicate as a teammate and contribute to care plans.
• Perform CPR and use advanced techniques (central lines, endoscopy, ultrasound).
• Capture diagnostic imaging and samples as needed; assist anesthesia for fragile patients.
