Job summary

Day Kimball Health in Putnam, CT is hiring an Emergency Mental Health Clinician on a per diem, second-shift basis. You will provide direct psychiatric evaluation, counseling, education, and referrals in the Emergency Department, collaborating with psychiatrists and other providers.

The role requires a master’s degree in a related field and CT licensure (LPC/LCSW/Psychologist/LMFT) with 2–3 years of psychiatric experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Psychology or related field; CT licensure strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct services to psychiatric patients in an emergency department setting, including evaluation, counseling, education and aftercare referral.

Education

Master’s degree (MSW, MS, MA) or doctorate in Psychology or related field

CT Licensure: LPC, LCSW, Psychologist, or LMFT
