Job summary

Virtua Health in Voorhees is seeking a Neurology Technician to perform EEG studies including Routine, Sleep Deprived, and Long-Term EEG for adults to geriatric patients. You will serve as a super-user for the digital EEG system and monitoring hardware.

The role requires at least one year of clinical EEG experience, familiarity with ABRET pathways, and ABRET registry requirements. BLS certification and graduation from an accredited EEG program are preferred; per diem, part-time schedule, on-site

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year adult experience in a clinical EEG setting.
• Knowledge of digital EEG systems preferred.
• ABRET pathways considered for registry eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Performs various types of encephalogram studies.
• Maintains digital EEG and long-term monitoring systems; clips studies to reduce server usage.
• Obtains patient history from medical records and documents in the EEG system; verifies orders and charges.
