Job summary

Virtua Health seeks a neurology technician to perform routine, sleep-deprived, and long‑term EEG studies for adults to geriatrics. This role also serves as a super‑user for the digital EEG system and monitoring platforms, ensuring precise data capture and system integrity.

Qualifications include at least one year of clinical EEG experience, familiarity with digital EEG systems, and ABRET pathway consideration.

Qualifications

• A minimum of one year adult experience in a clinical EEG setting.
• Knowledge of digital EEG systems is preferred.
• ABRET pathways considered for credentialing.

Responsibilities

• Performs various types of encephalogram studies.
• Maintains the digital EEG and long‑term monitoring systems.
• Clips long‑term monitoring studies to reduce server space.
• Obtains patient history from medical records and documents in the EEG system.
• Ensures patient orders and charges are correct and appropriate.
