Virtua Health in New Jersey seeks a Neurology Technician to perform routine and long-term EEG studies for adults to geriatrics. You will also act as a super-user for the digital EEG system and monitoring platforms in a patient-centered setting.

One year of clinical EEG experience is preferred; ABRET pathways are considered. Per diem, part-time shifts with flexible scheduling at multiple Voorhees/Marlton area locations are available.

Qualificações

• Experience performing EEG studies and familiarity with ABRET pathways is preferred.
• Graduate of accredited EEG program or equivalent training recommended.
• High school education required; college education preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Performs various types of encephalogram studies (Routine, Sleep Deprived, LTM EEG).
• Maintains digital EEG and long-term monitoring systems; clips studies to save server space.
• Obtains patient history and documents information in the EEG system; ensures orders and charges are correct.
