Job summary

Curriculum Associates, LLC is seeking a temporary Educational Consultant (ELA or Reading) in Portsmouth, NH. This Per Diem role targets retired or transitioning educators who will deliver professional learning, coach teachers, analyze data, and support school leaders.

Heavy travel (up to 80%) is required and living within 30 miles of Portsmouth is expected. The consultant works with the Associate Manager, sales team, and other professionals to facilitate on-site trainings and data-informed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field.
• 2+ years of ELA/Reading teaching or coaching experience.
• Experience delivering professional development.
• Master’s in ELA/Reading preferred.
• Strong data analysis and instructional coaching skills.

Responsibilities

• Become an expert on i-Ready and Common Core ELA.
• Coordinate on-site training for teachers and administrators.
• Adapt workshops to fit participant needs.
• Deliver PD to teachers, coaches, and leaders with equity in focus.
• Provide tailored on-site support and data-informed instruction.
• Engage in ongoing professional improvement and coaching.
• Submit detailed training notes and assignments on time.
• Present a professional image to customers.
