Job summary

Curriculum Associates, LLC is seeking an Educational Consultant (Per Diem) in Kansas City, KS. The role focuses on delivering on-site professional development to teachers and school leaders, coordinating workshops, and applying data to inform instruction.

The position is highly travel-intensive and ideal for retired or transitioning educators. Responsibilities include leading PD sessions, adjusting content for participant needs, and tracking training outcomes while representing the company

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 2+ years of experience in teaching, coaching teachers, and providing professional development.
• Experience teaching at the secondary (6–12) level preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of the Common Core State Standards, Grades K–8.
• Fluency with using digital tools including online assessments and data discussions with teachers/leaders.
• Excellent facilitation, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site product training and professional development for teachers and school leaders.
• Deliver tailored professional development courses to educators and administrators.
• Adjust workshops to fit participants’ needs within set guidelines.
• Collaborate with teachers/coaches/leaders to apply data to instruction.
• Maintain detailed training notes and complete assignments on time.
