Job summary

Curriculum Associates, LLC is seeking a temporary Educational Consultant (ELA or Reading) to provide on-site professional learning for teachers and school leaders in Mississippi. The role emphasizes training, data analysis, and consultative support to implement Ready and i-Ready effectively.

The Per Diem position requires a Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years in ELA/Reading education, strong facilitation skills, and willingness to travel up to 80% of the time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years in teaching ELA/Reading.
• Experience coaching teachers and delivering professional development.
• Strong knowledge of CCSS/standards for ELA/Reading K–8.
• Proficient with online assessments and data analysis.
• Excellent facilitation and communication skills.
• Able to manage multiple tasks and timelines.
• Willing to travel up to 80%.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate high-quality professional development and training for teachers and leaders.
• Coordinate on-site product training and professional learning courses.
• Analyze data and tailor support to improve instruction.
• Engage with teachers, coaches, and school leaders to implement Ready and i-Ready.
• Travel as required and maintain professional standards in client interactions.
