Job summary

Aspire Living & Learning is seeking a Per Diem Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities in Baltimore County. The DSP will assist with daily activities, household chores, meals, recreation, learning, and physical fitness, and may help with transportation as needed with mileage reimbursement provided.

Schedule is per diem, dependent on program needs, with a minimum of 16 hours per month.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities in a professional setting preferred.
• Basic computer skills, Therap a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Empathy, enthusiasm, and dedication for helping others.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support with daily activities and household tasks.
• Support meal preparation, recreational, learning, and physical fitness activities.
• Represent the needs and interests of individuals served and provide input on program planning.
