Job summary

Imperial Healthcare Rehabilitation & Nursing is seeking a per diem Dietary Cook in New Jersey to prepare meals according to menu and dietary guidelines, and to work closely with the Executive Chef and kitchen team during service. The role emphasizes teamwork, food quality, and adherence to safety standards.

You will read and follow standardized recipes, assist with dishwashing, and help maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen while ensuring compliance with state and federal healthcare regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of cooking experience.
• Knowledge of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP).
• ServSafe Certification (preferred).
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to menu and dietary guidelines.
• Collaborate with the Executive Chef and kitchen team during service.
