Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to provide anesthesia services under the supervision of a physician anesthesiologist. The CRNA will assist with pre-anesthetic assessments, develop care plans, administer anesthesia, monitor and manage patient status, and provide post-anesthesia care under medical direction.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing or anesthesiology required.
• ACLS certification is required (American Heart Association).
• NBCRNA certification and RN license in Ohio are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with pre-anesthetic assessment and obtain informed consent.
• Assist with development and implementation of an anesthetic care plan.
• Initiate and manage anesthesia under supervision, including general, regional, local, and sedation.
• Monitor patient status with appropriate non-invasive and invasive modalities.
• Complete anesthesia documentation and assist with post-anesthesia care and pain management.
