Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a CRNA to perform and document preanesthetic assessments, develop anesthetic plans, and initiate anesthesia under physician supervision. The role includes general, regional, local, and sedation coverage with postanesthesia care and follow-up evaluations.

Responsibilities include emergency response, on-call coverage as needed, and ongoing pain management. Work week is 32 hours from Monday to Thursday with day shifts in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved school of nursing and hold current Ohio licensure as a registered nurse.
• Graduate from a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the AANA.
• Complete the AANA Certification examination and maintain active practice.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document preanesthetic assessment and evaluation.
• Provide general, regional, local and sedation coverage.
• Select, obtain and administer anesthetics and other drugs.
• Facilitate emergency and recovery from anesthesia.
• Provide postanesthesia care.
• Implement acute and chronic pain management modalities.
• Respond to emergency situations.
• Provide on-call coverage as required by the department.
