Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to perform preanesthetic assessments and develop comprehensive anesthetic plans. You will initiate general, regional, local, and sedation techniques and monitor patients throughout the perioperative period.

Responsibilities include continuing evaluation, drug administration, on-call coverage, and postanesthesia care, under physician supervision as required by Ohio law.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved nursing program and hold current Ohio RN licensure.
• Graduate from a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the AANA Council on Accreditation.
• Complete the AANA Certification examination.
• Maintain current licensure and active CRNA practice as defined by AANA.

Responsibilities

• Perform preanesthetic assessment and evaluation.
• Provide general, regional, local and sedation anesthesia coverage.
• Select, obtain and administer anesthetics and other drugs.
• Facilitate recovery from anesthesia and manage pain.
• Respond to emergencies and provide on-call coverage as required.
