Job summary

Live Well Homecare seeks an experienced nurse anesthetist to provide anesthesia care in the operating room under the supervision of an anesthesiologist. The role includes preoperative evaluation, intraoperative monitoring, and postoperative follow-up, acting as a patient advocate and liaison with families and physicians.

The position emphasizes collaboration with the surgical team, patient safety, and mentoring peers and learners within a dynamic clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Nursing is required.
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Anesthetizes patients, selects drugs, and manages induction and maintenance.
• Monitors patient status, interprets data, and adjusts medications as needed.
• Communicates patient condition with the surgical team and assesses equipment.
• Performs preoperative evaluations and ensures OR setup readiness.
• Coordinates with staff to ensure patient safety and responds to emergencies.
• Documents care in EMR and safely transports patients post-procedure.
• Mentors peers, staff, residents, and students to foster collaboration.
